The Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society hosted a presentation of Pennsylvania German ice harvesting Saturday on the farm near Virginville. The demonstration included a demonstration of antique ice harvesting tools and cutting and harvesting ice blocks from the ice pond. Visitors learned how ice was hauled to and loaded in the ice house.
